nanpū ya to yorimo omoku zō no mimi
      south wind—
     an elephant ear is heavier
     than the door

Shirohae (white South Wind) is the wind from
South after a rainy season which lightens the sky.  
Kurohae (black South Wind) is the wind from South
during a rainy season which darkens the sky.
